What is a Gift Voucher?
A Gift Voucher is a Prepaid Certificate that lets someone enjoy an unforgettable experience at The DROP — Indoor Skydiving in our Wind Tunnel or a session on the Artificial Surf Wave or even both. You can even give a Gift of a Choice — This is a Flexible Voucher that allows the recipient to Choose their Adventure.
Gift vouchers are available as a Digital Email version or a Beautifully Packaged Voucher with delivery across South Africa. Perfect for Birthdays, Holidays, Team rewards and Events or Just Because you Feel like it!
What kind of Gift Vouchers do you Offer?
We offer Three types of Gift Vouchers:
1. Wind Tunnel Voucher – for indoor skydiving.
2. Surf Voucher – for an artificial wave session.
3. Gift of a Choice – lets the recipient choose between flying or surfing.
All vouchers are available as either Digital or Physical, depending on the delivery options you select during checkout.
Can I choose the Value or Experience?
Yes! You can choose a Specific Experience — like a 30-minute Wind Tunnel Flight or a Surf Session or enter a Custom Value so that the recipient can decide how to use it.

Where can I Buy a Voucher?
You can purchase our Gift Vouchers directly on our website at thedp.co.za/gift-vouchers or visit us at our venue in Midrand.
All Digital Vouchers are delivered instantly by Email and If you Prefer a Physical Gift Box, just leave delivery and packaging selected at checkout — we ship across South Africa.
Can the Recipient choose the Date Themselves?
Yes, absolutely! The recipient can choose their preferred date and time using the code provided on the voucher.

What is a Digital Voucher and How is it Delivered?
A digital voucher is an electronic version of your gift voucher, delivered instantly by email after purchase. It’s fast, convenient, and perfect for last-minute gifts.
Just make sure the delivery and packaging options are deselected at checkout — this tells us you prefer the digital version.
What is a Gift Box and Why is it More Expensive?
A Gift Box is a beautifully printed version of the voucher, packed in a stylish presentation box and delivered across South Africa. It includes a printed voucher and a short guide on booking and what to expect.
It’s more expensive due to packaging and shipping costs, but ideal if you want to give a physical, impressive gift.
What’s the Difference Between the Gift Box and the Digital Voucher?
When you purchase a Gift Voucher, the difference between a digital and physical version depends on the delivery and packaging options:
• If delivery and packaging are selected → you’ll receive a Gift Box (physical version).
• If delivery and packaging are removed → you’ll receive a digital version (sent by email).
Both versions include the same experience — only the presentation differs.
How long are the Vouchers Valid For?
All our gift vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. The recipient has plenty of time to choose the perfect moment for their adventure. The expiry date will be clearly stated on the voucher.
Can the Vouchers be Refunded or Exchanged?
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. However, if the recipient wants to use the voucher for a different experience or upgrade to a different package, we’re happy to help adjust the booking — just contact our team in advance.
Can the vouchers be Transferred to someone else?
Yes! Our gift vouchers are fully transferable. If you’re unable to use it yourself, you can give it to a friend or family member. Just make sure they bring the voucher with them (either printed or on their phone) when they arrive.
What if I lose my Voucher?
If you lose your gift voucher, don’t worry! Just contact us as soon as possible with the details of your purchase (such as the name or email used). We’ll help you recover the voucher or resend the information to ensure you don’t miss out on your experience.
What if I need to Reschedule my Booking?
If you need to reschedule your booking, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust your booking without affecting the voucher’s validity. If you do not notify us within 24 hours, the voucher may be considered used, and rescheduling may not be possible.
Can I Upgrade my Experience with my voucher?
Yes, you can upgrade your experience! If you’d like to add extra time or upgrade to a more advanced package, you can do so by paying the difference at the time of your visit. Simply show your gift voucher and let our team know that you’d like to upgrade.
How do I book using a Voucher?
To book your experience, go to thedp.co.za/bookly, select your preferred activity, date, and time, and choose “Pay on Visit” at checkout.
During checkout, please include the voucher number in the “Message Field” to confirm your payment method. On the day of your visit, simply show your gift voucher — either printed or on your phone.
What if the Voucher Expires before I use it?
Our gift vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. If the voucher expires before you’ve used it, please contact us to discuss your options. In some cases, we may be able to extend the voucher or offer an alternative solution.

WHO CAN FLY? ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS?
We do not recommend flying for pregnant women and people with habitual dislocation of the shoulder joint.
